ForeignEIN

Privacy Policy

Last updated:

This policy explains what ForeignEIN collects when you use this site to order an EIN service, why, and what is done with it. ForeignEIN is operated by EDXAD LLC, 8 The Green Suite B, Dover, DE 19901, USA ("we", "us").

1. What we collect

When you complete the order form, we collect: the company's legal name, trade name, state and date of formation, mailing address and country, principal activity; the responsible party's name, US tax ID status, country of residence and citizenship; whether the company already holds an EIN and, if so, that number; and your contact email and phone.

2. Why we collect it, and when

This information is collected before payment for two purposes:

The order form states this at the point where your contact details are entered. By submitting the form you acknowledge this use.

3. Legal basis

We process your data to take steps, at your request, prior to and in performance of the service contract, and on the basis of our legitimate interest in following up on an order you began. Where your jurisdiction requires consent for the follow-up contact described above, submitting the form with the stated notice constitutes that consent. You can opt out of the follow-up contact at any time (see section 7).

4. Who it is shared with

To deliver the service, the company and responsible-party information is transmitted to the third party who files the EIN request with the US Internal Revenue Service on your behalf and who is named as third-party designee on the application. We also use a payment processor (Stripe) to take payment; we do not store your card details. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for unrelated advertising.

5. Where it goes

Delivering the service necessarily involves transmitting the relevant information to the United States, to the IRS, for the purpose of obtaining the EIN and an official IRS confirmation. This transfer is intrinsic to the service you request.

6. How long we keep it

We retain order information for as long as needed to deliver the service and to meet record-keeping obligations connected to it, then delete or anonymise it. Records of completed requests may be retained longer where required for legal or accounting purposes.

7. Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data, or to stop the follow-up contact described in section 2, by writing to contact@foreignein.com. Stopping follow-up contact does not affect processing of an order already in progress. Once an EIN request has been filed, the underlying submission cannot be withdrawn from the IRS by us.

8. Contact
